About Me

When I entered motherhood, I suddenly felt this wave of nostalgia come over me. The reality that every single moment, of every single day would never again be repeated would consume my thoughts. And deep down I knew, that, I wouldn’t remember all the tiny, but important details of my mothering. I wanted to be remembered. I wanted the moments to be remembered. I wanted our stories retold and relived.

When I picked my new camera, a whole new world opened up to me. I LOVED taking photographs of my life at home with my kids and our family adventures. And a desire to do the same for as many families as I could overwhelmed my heart.

And so… Living Notes was born! Since its inception, I’ve always wanted to document family life in a way that is not only real but meaningful. My passion and mission is to create beauty from the ordinary. The chaos and the love and everything in between. So that, when you look back at your photos, what you saw, heard, and felt all come back flooding your heart and mind. Your family photographs are living, breathing notes, heirlooms of your history, carried on long after you are gone.
