An Intimate micro wedding celebration in dobbs ferry, ny

When Abbe reached out to me, she and Daryl had made the difficult decision to cancel their wedding. For the second time! (due to the pandemic). It was such a blow to the stomach. But what they dreamed up and created instead, with such short notice, was so meaningful, so beautiful and so special.

They decided to celebrate their love with just their family on a warm, glowy afternoon in my favorite month - June! It was a tremendous honor to be there for them and capture it all. Their intimate, family affair, was equal parts magic, hilarious and fun. I just love how they honored their heritage and her mother in the details. Having her father officiate the ceremony was the icing on the cake!

The pandemic brought a lot of us to our knees. It made us (albeit forcibly) recalculate and reroute. It continues to challenge us to move past our comfort zone and raise the question what really matters in life. I love that Abbe and Daryl chose to celebrate their love in the power and beauty of simplicity and family. And the photos are just my faves and capture the joy we all experienced that day!
